This function adds the cells using a given criteria.
Syntax
SUMIF(array,condition,sumrange)
Arguments
This function has these arguments:

Description |
array |
Range of cells to check; each cell in the array can be a double-precision floating-point value or an integer value |
condition |
Condition that determines which cells are added, as a text, number, or expression (where expressions use the relational operators detailed in Operators in a Formula) |
sumrange |
[Optional] Range of cells to add; if omitted, then all the cells in the array are added |
Data Types
Accepts numeric data for array and sumrange. Accepts text, numeric or expression data for condition. Returns numeric data.
Examples
SUMIF(A1:B7,">150",C1:C11)
SUMIF(A1:A9,">150")
